<p>yesterday I led him up to our country lane and back easily, today I rode him the same way and he was foot perfect!</p>

<p>Well 5 days into the training programme and I am seeing amazing results.</p>
<p>Firstly, I have used an area of one of my fields which is next to my schooling area. I feed Riley in the field and feed Jack in the school. I leave them to eat then train Jack in the school, in sight of Riley.</p>

<p>Thanks so much for the reply. Sassy did live in a herd up until about age 6 when I bought her. She was put out in a new herd where I originally moved, but it did not work out well. There were no slow introductions or anything like that. I was honestly new to horses at the time and didn&#8217;t know better. If they have always been kept separate some horses can find it difficult to adjust to living in a herd with others as they may have missed out on vital learning at a young age. Ive recently started with my cowy mustang and she LOVES play time haha. Clear boundaries necessary of course but that way they get to put all that energy and drive into something&#8230;not a human lol.</p>
